{ A day of nothingness }
And sometimes it's needed. Sometimes unplugging, sitting back, and doing nothing is essential to replenish the soul.
I think that I am the type of woman that feels like I constantly need to be on the go, even if I'm not feeling 100%. But there are days where my body says stop, and I've learned to listen and not fight back.
I switched off today. Truthfully, our allergies have been so bad, Nick and I have been suffering quite badly the past two weeks. It doesn't help that the weather is constantly changing too.
I unplugged for the morning, and since it was so cold here today, I put on some fresh warm pajamas, cleaned the house, then sat on the bed with Marley, snuggled under a warm blanket. I read, I watched Marley get up multiple times to keep an eye on the squirrel in our backyard and I watched TV.
It felt good but I also felt like the laziest person on earth, and that is not something I like at all. Needless to say, I'm looking forward to starting fresh tomorrow, having had a good rest today, and push through with being productive.
I have 4 place mats and a couple bookmarks to sew, as well as a few more masks. Our Governor is talking about reopening our State very soon, but I think we will all be required to still wear masks, and that is perfectly fine by me. Jasmine especially will need then to wear to work.
And that's it, really, I don't have much else to share with you today, so I'll sign off for now.
