Good morning everyone, welcome back to my little corner of the world.
I sure hope this post finds you well. Here we are, the very last Happy Homemaker Monday of September 2025. I always say that time is flying but September has literally just whizzed by before I even got used to it. But, that's ok too because it means we are fully, in the cooler months.
Now, let's get on with today's post. I wish you all a very blessed week.
*** The Weather ***
Still too hot for my liking, especially for this time of the year. I am eagerly awaiting the 70s and 60s temperatures. Unfortunately for now, we are still sticking around the 90s, at least outside, because inside, I am fully in Autumn mode.
Tuesday - Partly cloudy, 88
Wednesday - Sunny, 92
Thursday - Sunny, 94
Friday - Sunny, 94
Saturday - Sunny, 92
Sunday - Sunny, 91
*** Right now I am ***
I just got back to my warm and comfy bed, after grabbing some breakfast and a second cup of coffee, to work on this post for you.
*** Thinking and pondering ***
The past week and a half, I have removed
myself from social media, meaning Instagram because that is the only one I have left. I posted just one small story on Saturday morning and that is it.
God has been
working within me and molding me into who He needs me to be. I've had
to come to terms with a lot of things, face some traits that I'm not
happy with, and allow Him to shape and remove what needs to be gone.
I've started noticing a huge difference in the way I see
things, the world, the people around me and what I think is important. I will share more on that in a post tomorrow.
Sometimes God pushes us to do something that we are not happy about or comfortable doing, and for me, it's been the constant nagging of getting back into my blog full time, to post daily, to share his gospel and to inspire others to continue being homemakers and loving the responsibility He put upon us.
*** How I am feeling ***
I'm doing well, feeling optimistic and blessed.
*** On the breakfast plate ***
Just had my second cup of coffee with almond milk, and a bowl of delicious creamy oatmeal with coconut flakes, a chopped date and half a sliced banana.
*** On the lunch plate ***
I have leftover sauteed acorn squash from last night's dinner, and leftover roast chicken too. I will have the squash and chicken for lunch.
*** On the dinner plate ***
Chicken Strogonoff, Buttered Pasta for the boys and Cauliflower rice for me, with a salad.
*** On the menu ***
Monday
Chicken Strogonoff, Buttered Pasta (Cauliflower rice for me), Salad
Tuesday
Ground Beef Ragu, Creamy Cheese Polenta, Brussel Sprouts

Zucchini, Carrot and Shrimp Alfredo Pasta, Steamed BroccoliThursday
Healthy Beef and Broccoli, Basmati Rice (Cauliflower Rice for me), Kimchi and Egg Rolls

*** What I am wearing ***
In my summer nightie at the moment. Will put on a summer dress, as today is my rest day, so no working out.
*** On my reading pile ***
Still reading the Bible through the year with The Bible Recap. We are finishing off the old testament, and will begin the new testament on the 1st of October.
Also reading Roanoke and actually quite enjoying it. I did pick a few books to have on hand for reading this month, not a TBR or specific list of must reads, as I have figured out that I am a mood reader and don't like feeling constrained to a book or list.
*** On my TV this week ***
Homemaking channels on YouTube.
Nothing else planned, I watched a lot of Hallmark last week and need a break. I do need to look up upcoming Period Dramas and if I find any good ones, I will be sure to share.
*** Looking around the house ***
As we enter into the cozy months, the house itself starts looking different. The light changes, the shadows change, and everything becomes warmer, cozier and more inviting. That's how my home feels at the moment. I want to go snuggle in the den, I want to sit in the living room with a book or bake in the kitchen. The Fall Home is truly coming alive.
*** To do list ***
Bible and Devotional time
Daily homemaking chores
Vacuum and dust
Water inside plants
*** What I am creating ***
Absolutely nothing at the minute. I need to get back into my crochet, I miss it so much. I think the problem is that I crocheted myself into a corner, meaning, I started huge projects that take a long time to finish, and have gotten bored and set them aside. Every time I get the itch to crochet, I look at those and immediately feel the ick, like I don't want to get stuck into a big project. So, I need to find something Fall related and maybe work on those smaller ones. Here are the ones I have in mind, and I'm sharing them in case some of you want to try them as well:
*** From the camera ***
My favorite time of year. Cozy mornings, sitting in bed surrounded by comfy blankets, books and my sweet Kaia and Elliott. ♥ *** Devotional, Prayers, Bible Verses ***
Speak John 10:10 over yours and your family's lives, daily. Pray that we have good and full lives, not prematurely ended by the enemy. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full. - John 10:10

Love how you hear the Lord speaking on your heart and listen. 🙏🏻 I love all the cozy around your home and hope you get the cooler temps to match dear Friend! Those little Fall crafting ideas are so adorable!! Wishing you blessings for a peaceful week ahead. xo
Thank you so much for sharing! Your photos are always so cozy!! I can totally understand about social media- I thought my instagram would be a better and easier way to blog than on here when I made it, but now I'm feeling the same thing, God pulling me back here. I'm glad I'm not the only one too, thank you for sharing your heart on that subject! And thank you for hosting, this is a sweet space for me to come back too!
I love how the house feels in the fall and winter. It feels more cozy and welcoming for some reason! I love those little mushrooms and pumpkins! I bought some mini fabric pumpkins of differing textures for my dining room built in. I also bought a new shower curtain that has lots of different mushrooms, sunflowers, bees, etc.
The pumpkins are the cutest. I love how fall seems to transform the house into a warm and cozy vibe. It's calming and peaceful.
Those pumpkins are just absolutely adorable!!!! Fall is a state of mind and with those I hope you have been able to ignore the lingering heat. Have a wonderful weekend.
