Good morning everyone :)
Welcome to my little home.
I won't be talking much today, I am currently sick, both Curt and I. We started feeling our throats a little weird yesterday, didn't do the gym or go to church because we felt off. We took it easy yesterday, but as the day wound down, it seemed to get worse.
I didn't get much sleep last night, have the worst sore throat just on the left side, which kept me up practically all night. Also been coughing and got up with a rough croaky voice. So much for a holiday right? We do have to run to Lowes this morning just for a pickup, so thankfully won't have to get out of the truck, but I will be spending most of the day in bed.
I sure hope you are all doing well, I know there's a lot of colds and flus going around, so hope you all have been able to avoid those.
Now, let's just get going with our post.

*** Right now I am ***
Sitting at my desk and trying to get this post up quick as I really don't feel well.
*** Thinking and pondering ***
Yesterday morning, we lost one of the stray kittens. I'm sure you remember me mentioning this little runt that would just stay here by us. We were feeding it, and keeping it safe and warm, and she slowly starting warming up to us. The past 3 days she let us pet her and hold her. But we started noticing that two days ago, she stopped eating much, and was just in her little box with her stuffed toy. Yesterday morning, she wasn't moving much, so Curt picked her up and put her on the ground on a blanket, and she passed shortly after. We stood with her, and petted her the entire time during her passing.
It was heartbreaking, and if you remember not long ago, just two weeks or so ago, we lost the other stray that we tried to help as well. I am heartbroken and again ask God why He keeps sending us these sick animals. But I'm starting to understand that He knows we will give them love and comfort where maybe someone else wouldn't, or they would end up dying somewhere alone. It's so hard. Please pray for Curt and I, we love animals and it's been just heartbreaking for us.
*** How I am feeling ***

*** What I am wearing ***
In my pajamas still, will change into some leggings and a sweatshirt when we run to get the lowes pickup, but will probably get back and change into some comfy pajamas again.
*** On my reading pile ***
I finished Tessa Afshar's Land of Silence. What a wonderful fictional recreation of such a powerful bible stories. I will definitely be grabbing more of her books.
I also started and finished the first book in Carrie Cotten's Medieval Christian Fiction trilogy. The book is called Huntress and I really, really enjoyed it. I will be starting the second book today, it is called The Viking.
*** On my TV this week ***
I have been watching my Turkish shows and a lot of book videos on YouTube. *** Looking around the house ***
It is 15 minutes to 8AM. I am a bit slow getting this post up. I don't have much to do in regards to house cleaning today, thankfully, just the usual kitchen dishes and tidying and some cooking later.
*** To do list for today***
Pick up a Lowes order
Water inside plants
Daily bible reading and devotional/bible study
Make chicken soup
*** What I am creating ***
I have a few projects on the go, but didn't get to any last week. And I am not sure I will this week either, it depends on how I am feeling.
*** From the camera ***
The best snickerdoodle cookies. I did post the recipe on the food blog, so head over there.
*** Devotional, Prayers, Bible Verses ***
Praying that Curt and I get over this cold quick, and it doesn't develop into a flu.
