{ Book Reading Challenge for this year - What I want to read }

 2013_02090029

Every year, I read a ton of books.  Most that are sent to me to review, and then when possible I threw in a few from my bookshelf.

I've never really sat down and made a list of books that I want to read for the year, like a challenge, and I do see a lot of bloggers and even youtubers doing this, so I thought that this year I would join in and set aside a stack that I want to get through in 2021.

I'm not going to put any pressure on myself to finish them, because it's hard to know for sure what the year ahead holds, and if I'll have the time to read as much as I want to.

But, I'm going to try very hard to stick to my list.  I do hope at the end of the year I can come back and say that I actually did it.

I only have one review book on the way, don't have any others planned yet, so I don't have to those to show you yet, but I'll definitely share them once they're in.

I originally picked 12 books, one a month.   I read way more than that, but like I said above, I would rather give myself a sensible reading challenge than overdo it and then feel like I failed.  But once I set those aside, I realized that I also had non fiction (Christian) books that I wanted to include.  So my goal is to read one fiction and one non fiction each month.

♥ Non Fiction and Christian List ♥

Technically I only have 11 books on this list, but that is because one of them includes a bible study, so I'm just counting it as two separate books.

As I mentioned above, I will also have review books sprinkled between these, and will do a future post on those.

I don't have a specific order to read them, I will probably just grab whatever I am feeling at the moment, and go for it.  I think this will give me about 2 weeks for each book, so two weeks for the fiction and two weeks for the non fiction.

There may be months that I read more, there may be months that I may not be able to read both and just one, it all depends on the review books that come in.

Hope you've enjoyed looking through my book challenge for 2021.  Do you have a book list to read from as well?
