{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 10/14/2024 }

Good morning dear friends, welcome back to my blog.   

I hope you've had a wonderful weekend, and are enjoying or at least looking forward to having the day off today, for Columbus Day.  
 
Hubby and I are headed to the gym here in about half an hour, so I don't have much time, and I want to get this up for you all before I leave.  So, without further ado, let's get on with our Happy Homemaker Monday!

*** The weather in my neck of the woods*** 
For some reason yesterday we peeked 101.  I couldn't roll my eyes any harder if I tried hahaha  But, we are back to wonderful temperatures the rest of the week.

Finished the Golden Seer Trilogy from Rae Carson, and have started The Thirteenth Tale by Dianne Setterfield.

The Baked Greek Yogurt Chicken was so good, the whole family enjoyed it.  Yesterday for dinner, I made Turkish Lahmacun which is a favorite around here, especially with the kids.

Trying to finish my Nordic Winter Afghan before the cold weather sets in.

Praying for our country, for all the craziness to just subside and for calmness and peace to return, that we may go back to a semi normal way of life.  The news are so negative and constant and seem never ending, from political turmoil to natural disasters, it's just overwhelming at the moment.
