Cooking Thursday - Cherry Kuchen

 

Good Morning :) 

Here is today's recipe, a Cherry Kuchen which is very easy to make and so delicious.

Cherry Kuchen

Ingredients
1 can (21 oz.) LUCKY LEAF Cherry Pie Filling
1/4 c. butter or margarine
1/2 c. sugar
1 egg
1-1/2 c. sifted flour
2-1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Preparation
Sift dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Combine egg, milk and vanilla. Add to flour mixture.

Pour pie filling into greased 7" x 11" glass baking dish (2 quart).

Cover with batter. Sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes.


Servings: 8

Drooling over the picture of this! Sounds delish, too. And. I always enjoy your new blog headers, with new photos and different fonts. With all you do, I hardly think you sleep, even though you say you do!

Glad it's finally cooling off in the desert. Many people don't think it freezes there, but I know, having once lived there for many years, that it most certainly does get cold!! Not sure it makes up for those plus 100 days though :-)
