I'm cold.....so very cold that my right hand is actually freezing as I type this up. We're in the single digits and actually went into the negative last night, definitely a big change from Arizona LOL
As I look outside my window:::
Snow, it still lays on the ground, even though now it's mainly ice but it's been so cold that it won't melt at all even with the sun shining. This morning we are at -6 degrees but with the windchill it is -18. Help me!!! LOL
Right now I am:::
Sitting in bed, as always when I type up this post. Wearing this adorable black nightgown that says "Is it too late to be good?" Hahah
I'm listening to my husband as he tells me about his college grades and the next assignment he has coming up, all the while trying to keep myself warm.
Thinking and pondering:::
About Christmas. My wonderful mother in law and father in law are arriving next week and we are so excited. Also thinking about what I'll be cooking while they're here, as it will go from 8 of us to 10. Oh boy, it's been a very long time since I've cooked for a big family.
On my bedside table:::
On the last pages of The Pursuit of Mary Bennet by Pamela Mingle.
Up next is Red Phone Box, for another review.
On my tv tonight:::
Catching up on:
Tudor Monastery Farm
Last night's The Witches of East End
The White Queen
Sherlock BBC so that I can be ready for the next season starting soon
Playing on the radio:::
Nothing at the moment, it's very quiet.

My simple pleasure:::
Church on a Sunday morning
Lesson learned the past week:::
Not one for me personally, but one we've had to teach our children and remind them a few times. It is difficult living in a house with two families, there are so many differing personalities and then there's the issue of privacy. The kids often get irritated with each other and things can escalate quickly, so we've been reminding them that this is not forever, that it's temporary, but most importantly that they need to be respectful of each other, respect privacy, respect boundaries and everyone will get along much better.
Looking around the house:::
Breakfast dishes are waiting to be washed, and the dinner dishes are on the rack waiting to be put away. I need to give the living room a good dusting and vacuuming. Also been rearranging some things here and there, so will continue with that.
From the camera:::
Prayer List:::
My husband and brother as they continue their search for jobs.
My stepmom and dad as they continue to struggle with their separation.
Friends going through a difficult time.
Lady in church going through chemotherapy.
Bible verse, Devotional:::
Psalm 118:22-24 (NIV) - The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone; the Lord has done this, and it is marvelous in our eyes. The Lord has done it this very day; let us rejoice today and be glad.

I so look forward to this meme each week, and am delighted in myself when I remember to participate.
Prayers for you all, and stay warm!
I knew winter was coming but goodness I still feel like it snuck right up on me! haha
Have a great week! Stay warm:)
What a good lesson to teach the kids. I imagine that it's also a good lesson to teach siblings.
Hope everything is going well with your husband and brother on the job hunt front.
Have a good week!
Enjoy these holidays - family bein together is nice for the holidays, especially as military families don't often get that (but yes, totally get the "privacy issues" of having so many under one roof for so long!). :)
