{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 03/22/2021 }

Good morning everyone, hope you've had a blessed restful weekend, and that your past week was a good one as well.

I apologize for my absence from the blog lately, but a lot has been going on and I haven't been feeling very well mentally.  I mentioned our friends passing last week, but on top of that, Marley hasn't been feeling well.  It's just been draining emotionally in more ways than one.

I had all these plans to go back to blogging daily, taking photos, sharing recipes and my usual content, but just haven't felt able to.  I know many of you will understand and I thank you for still hanging around and showing up every Monday.  Thank you so much ♥

Anyway, I wish you all a blessed week ahead, and am equally hoping mine is blessed as well.

♥♥The Weather♥♥
Spring has arrived, and with it, the rain.  The temperatures have been a bit weird though, cold in the morning, and super hot in the afternoon.  It's all up and down.  We have some more rain this week but for the most part, temperatures will be in the 50s and 70s.

Monday - Rain, 60
Tuesday -  Sunny, 71
Wednesday - Cloudy, 63
Thursday -  Rainy, 61
Friday - Cloudy, 77
Saturday -  Sunny, 79
Sunday -  Sunny, 71

♥♥How I am feeling this morning♥♥
Insomnia!!!  Emotional, overwhelmed, all the feelings that lead me to my Father's feet for comfort.

 ♥♥On the breakfast plate♥♥
Cup of coffee with Peppermint mocha, and a maple glazed donut.

♥♥On my reading pile♥♥
Ezequiel in the Bible.
My daily devotional book.
The Girl in the Painting by Tea Cooper

 ♥♥On my tv♥♥
Nothing really, last week I didn't watch much of anything at all.
I HAVE however been wanting to watch a good period drama or series, and there is one on Amazon Prime that looks interesting.  It is called Anzac Girls.  I'll let you know if I watch it and if I liked it.

♥♥On the menu this week♥♥
Quite a few meals didn't get eaten the past two weeks, so I'm shifting those to the next two weeks meal plan.

Monday - Instant Pot Spaghetti, Garlic Bread, Salad
Tuesday - Steaks with pepper sauce, mashed potatoes, sauteed squash (still haven't made these)
Wednesday - Cheese and Potato Pierogies with Bacon, Brussel Sprouts
Thursday - Pork Chops, Garlic Spaghetti, Salad
Friday - Meatloaf, mash, green beans
Saturday - Butter Beef Roast, Butter Garlic Rice, Steamed Broccoli
Sunday - Brunch (Sausage Casserole, Bacon, Biscuits and Gravy)

♥♥Looking around the house♥♥
It is quite dark even though it's 8 in the morning.  I have a ton of laundry that has been washed and folded, sitting on my couches in the den right now.  Just need to get it all put away sometime this morning.
Need to vacuum and dust as well.
I'm hoping to get a spring cleaning list ready to tackle the house.

♥♥To relax this week, I will♥♥
I am hoping to catch up on some reading, and maybe crocheting.

♥♥Something I want to share♥♥
Another beautiful video by ErmiChuiyan.  This one is called Radish.  Hope you enjoy as much as I did.

♥♥Devotional, inspirational, prayer list or Bible verse♥♥

I'm very sorry to hear of your friend's passing. I lost a good friend in December and it was such a shock. Sorry to hear Marley is under the weather! Your menu looks absolutely amazing as always. Prayers for your mental health - I have struggled with those issues for so many years!

Hope you feel better soon. Hope the Spring flowers will bring you lots of cheer. I like the video, the white radish is HUGE. We have these in our markets but much much smaller. We cook them in soups, it has an acquired taste but I love radish as we grew up eating them. Stay well.
