Happy Homemaker Monday

hhm

The weather in my neck of the woods:
Blue skies, not a cloud in sight, it's wonderful.

One of my simple pleasures:
Gardening, though I'm horrible and tend to kill most of what I tend to, but I keep trying, one day I'll be successful.

On my bedside table:
Here Burns my Candle

On my TV:
Lark Rise to Candleford Season 3

On the menu for tonight:
Pepperoni Pizzaz - Will have recipe on food blog later

On my To Do List:
Iron laundry and put away
Mop
Wash bed sheets

New Recipe I tried last week:
Not really a recipe but the fun Hillbilly Teeth.

In the craft basket:
Crochet cupcakes, granny squares and bowl fillers

Looking forward to:
A whole week of Spring Break with my kids.

Homemaking Tip for this week:
Align CenterAs the laundry finishes drying, fold and put away immediately. It helps cut down on having piles of laundry laying around. I try to do this all the time but there's days I also let it pile up, like last night when I tackled 3 baskets full on my bed.

Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
I read so many last week and I can't think of a single one to list LOL I'm a ditz. Sorry, just go read any of the wonderful ladies that comment on my blog, they have amazing blogs :)

Favorite photo from last week:

Lesson learned the past few days:
Live in the moment and stop worrying about what you have no control over.

On my Prayer List:
Mari's daughter Heather
Friends and Family

Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Romans 15:13
