Good morning everyone!
It is a beautiful Monday morning here in Texas. Hope this post finds you all doing well, and I hope you've had a wonderful weekend with your families.
Welcome back to my blog and to another Happy Homemaker Monday. I wish you all a blessed week ahead, may it be productive and blessed in every way possible.
The weather:::
We are in the middle of Tornado season, and it's been showing up and acting loony. A lot of severe storms, tornadoes, insane winds and the most humid, gross temperatures ever. I think I prefer the Arizona hot heat over this humid heat. We have another week of storms on the way, but I'm hoping it's just rain and no nonsense.

As I look outside my window:::
The skies are a beautiful blue at the moment and the sun is shining brightly. There are still rain drops on the grass and as the sun hits them, they shine so bright, like diamonds littered over the grass. It's so stunning to see.

Right now I am:::
I have already been busy in the house, started laundry, emptied dishwasher and reloaded and tidied up the living rooms. I am now back sitting on my bed with the laptop, to work on this post for you.
Something fun to share (a blog, a video, a tip):::
For the book lovers, like myself, What Should I Read Next? Is a great website. Just enter in a book you read and loved and it will give you a ton of suggestions. You may just find a new favorite on there.
Thinking and pondering:::
So many things on my mind. I don't have a specific thing, other than wondering how I can remove myself even more from this insane world we are living in. I may just become a hermit, it never appealed to me but it's getting more and more enticing. Good grief!

I never let a meal go to waste, I sometimes will switch meals around if I prefer or am in the mood for something other than what I wrote down for that specific day. Still working on the granny squares, had to stop for 2 days because I ran out of my green yarn, but picked some more up this weekend and can continue today.
My simple pleasure:::
Looking through old photographs.
Looking around the house:::
I have quite a few of our from the front porch, inside, because of the storms yesterday. Need to move them back out. Also have some patio furniture cushions inside as well, which need to go back out.
I've already given the house a quick tidy up, but will continue with a more in depth clean and tidy, after this post.
From the camera:::
My Jane Austen inspired books for the month of July.
Bible verse, Devotional:::
“I
tell you that this man, rather than the other, went home justified
before God. For all those who exalt themselves will be humbled, and
those who humble themselves will be exalted.” - Luke 18:14

Hello dear Sandra!
Maybe we need to start our own peaceful homemaker commune and get away from all the chaos and pain. Geesh! With you in praying for this world! And pray you stay safe in this tornado season. Blessings to you always. xo
