Good morning everyone, and a very happy Monday morning to you.

If you are off today, I hope you have a wonderful relaxing day with your family, and if you are working like so many others are, then I wish you a blessed day nonetheless.  

 

It is Monday morning, we are supposed to have a little rain today which I'm very much looking forward to.  Now, let's get on with our Happy Homemaker Monday for today.

*** The Weather *** 

I think we may have another year where we go straight from summer to winter, and don't get to enjoy the wonderful Fall.  To say I'm over the 90 and 80 degree weather, would be an understatement.

 *** Right now I am ***

I just gave hubby his coffee and now I am back in the room.  It is still dark outside, so I'm working on this post and then I'm going to actually sit and relax and watch some tv, before starting the day.

Just thinking about Thanksgiving and what needs to be done, the menu, the guests and all that fun stuff. 

 

 

*** How I am feeling *** 

I am feeling good, a little tired and will probably sneak in a nap today, but I am well.

Had a cup of coffee and some oatmeal.

Not sure.  I made Chicken Parmesan for dinner last night but only ate a little piece of chicken as I was full from lunch.

*** What I am wearing *** 

As usual at this time of the day, I am still in my nightgown.  Not sure what I will put on later, probably a dress.

Still reading through the Bible Recap.

 

I also am halfway through The Secrets of Hartwood Hall by Katie Lumsden, which I am absolutely loving.  It is fantastic!    

 

 

 

*** On my TV this week *** 

Vlogtober continues, and I did share some of my favorite channels, so if you want some to watch this month, go read my Blogtober Day 7 post. 

 

 

*** Looking around the house *** 

It is quiet and dark.  Curt is in his office on his computer, Kaia is eating her breakfast, and Elliott is here with me on the bed.  He is getting ready to take his morning nap.

*** Devotional, Prayers, Bible Verses *** 

Today my heart is so overwhelmed, happy and filled with joy, as the last surviving hostages have been released back to Israel.  I praise the Lord for this momentous moment and pray for them all and their families.

 

Though glad that they are finally free after 2 years, and back with their family, they will have a very long healing journey ahead.  If you didn't know, many of the survivors from the horrible October 7 massacre, have since committed suicide.  It is heartbreaking!!!

 

Keeping them all in my prayers.
