{ Blogtober 2025 - Day 11 - A homey day }

IMG_9749

Saturday has been a homey day, with the usual chores, and some reading and crochet thrown in, in between episodes of the newest British Baking Show which I LOVE.

I thought I would just keep this one short and dump a bunch of photos instead.  :)

I've been asked many times, what do I use on my face because my skin is so good for my age, which is 51 by the way, in case you didn't know.

I am a Nivea girl through and through, have always used it on my face, since my teenage years and continue to do so.  I just don't understand the need to put 20 products on my face, all super expensive.  I guess I'm old fashioned.

The only other product I do use on my face at night is the Pond's Rejuveness.  That's it!  Sorry to disappoint you Hahahah

Got laundry going, as always, and also reorganized by tea drawer.

We have a cup of tea every night, after dinner, while we play games as a family.  It's become a habit that we love.

A cup of milky tea was very much needed this morning.  I love carrying it around while I do my chores.

Part 2 of the Solstice Star Blanket, was released on Friday.  I was so looking forward to it, spent all week checking the day and couldn't wait for Friday morning to arrive.

I am soooooo enjoying this pattern and the color combo I picked.  Nothing my usual colors, but just so pretty.

I also picked up some more of the yarn I am using, and thankfully my Walmart had it.  I don't want to run out.

Afternoons are usually spent sitting on my bed with a cup of tea or coffee and a good book.  Really enjoying this one by Katie Lumsden, and much to my surprise, I didn't even realize that the author of the book, Katie, is actually one of my favorite booktubers and I've been following her forever.

How did I not know she wrote this book?

She does have another which I plan on getting next month.

And just like that, my Saturday was over.  I feel like I didn't get much done before it was bedtime again, but that's how it's been going lately, days and weeks just disappear right before our eyes.
