Hardcover: 320 Pages
Publisher: Inkyard Press; Original edition (February 12, 2019)

Agatha DeLacey’s family isn’t rich or titled, so studying nursing at Ingold’s East End hospital in London is a rare opportunity for her. Despite the school’s focus on the innovative Bio-Mechanical program, Aggie cares more about the desperately poor human patients who flood the hospital, even if that means providing unauthorized treatment after-hours…and trusting a charming, endlessly resourceful thief.

But the Artful Dodger is barely a step ahead of his underworld rivals, the menacing Bill Sykes and mercurial Oliver Twist, and Aggie’s association with him soon leads her into danger. When a brutal attack leaves her blind, she and the Dodger find themselves at the mercy of an experimental Bio-Mech surgery. Though the procedure restores Aggie’s sight, her new eyes come at an unnerving cost, and the changes in Dodger are even more alarming—instead of seeing Aggie as the girl he fancies, he now views her as a potential threat.

As war between England and Germany brews on the horizon and a sinister medical conspiracy threatens to shatter the uneasy peace in Europe, Aggie and the Dodger must find a way to work together so they can protect their friends and expose the truth…even if it means risking their own survival.

{ The nitty gritty of daily homemaking and her DNA Ancestry Results }

2013_03020046

You ever stop what you're doing and think "I've done this a million times, and I'm sure I'll do it a million times more?".

It's how I feel every day of my life, there are chores around the house that are never ending, and just when you think you've caught up, it all piles up again and there you are, back at the kitchen stove scrubbing, or throwing the millionth load into the washer.

Sometimes I want to throw my hands up in the air and claim defeat, just let it be.  I can't though, it would drive me completely insane.  As it is, my kids say I'm always cleaning.  LOL

Anyway, good morning everyone, how are you today?

{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 03/04/2019 }

Good Morning everyone and a very Happy Monday to you all :)

It's is just gone 7:18am and I've been up since 5am.  My poor husband woke up with a bad headache and of course that woke me up, so he took something for that and then we both just laid in bed and chatted until 6am.

I had to get up, make coffee, make his lunch and also finish off two cakes that he was taking into work.  One was a Victoria Sponge and the other a Tres Leches Cake.  His cowokers have been asking if I could make something and I've put it off for two weeks because I just haven't had the time.  I'm sure they will appreciate their goodies today.

I'm getting this post up and then I have to get dressed for the day, prepare Jasmine's work lunch and take her into work.  It's going to be a really busy week with lots of homemaking and running around as she's basically working every day.

I hope you've all had a wonderful weekend, and I wish you a blessed and amazing week ahead.   Right, let's get on with our Happy Homemaker Monday.

{ Week in Review - February 25 to March 1 }

:::BOUGHT

I've been needing a good mop for quite a while now, and I wasn't sure what I wanted or which one.  I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but then again all the cheaper mops I've purchased did not last long at all.  I found this one and ordered in on Amazon, it's more than I would usually spend on a mop but we will see.  I'll definitely show you and let you know what I think once it's in.

{ I really and I mean really, don't like driving }

Honestly, the more I drive, the less I like it.  The drivers in our city are by far, some of the worst I've ever come across.  I have never seen such reckless driving, and it's no wonder the highways are littered with police cars and people pulled over.

If I could avoid driving, I surely would.

I don't know about you all, but it's nerve wrecking for me.

I apologize for the lack of photos on this post, but I haven't had the chance to take many, I find that lately I'm getting on with my days and by the time I realize that I didn't take a single photo, it's far too late as I'm literally climbing into bed.
