What is it with the weekends? They come and they go faster than you can blink your eyes.
I was just getting into the weekend groove and here we are, Sunday night, about to go into Monday. I'm not ready for the new week yet, I have too much I wanted to get done.
Oh well, guess we just have to wait and look forward to the following weekend right?
I spent another relaxed day, more crocheting, some nail art for fun and some yummy food to eat.
They are open now and I can't stop looking at them, I think sunflowers are one of the most beautiful flowers on earth.
When I'm in one of my crochet moods, I tend to crochet really fast, so I finished my first row of the blanket, it helps that granny squares are so easy to make and work up so fast
While I was in a creative mood, I decided to mess around with the nail polish and see what I was able to do. It's not easy at all, goodness you need a very steady hand, and of course my right hand always looks horrible compared to the left LOL
But anyway, here are some vintage flowers and polka dots, Jasmine said they remind her of Cath Kidston LOL
I guess they do actually, and I love it :)
Not perfect, but adorable nonetheless.
So yeah, a quiet Sunday, not too much done today or much to show for, but sometimes that's a good thing, we all need a day to decompress and take it easy and not overfill it with to do's.
Ended the night with one of the kid's favorite spaghetti recipes. Spaghetti a la Philly.
I have a few books to transfer to my Kindle, so I'm going to go ahead and do that.
The boys are watching Fantastic Four on the TV, the girl is listening to music on her laptop, and I have some more crochet to do.
Best skidaddle on out of here, goodnight :)

Hi
lovely to hear about your day..
I agree with Jasmine that it looks like Cath Kidson .. I love her prints but unfortunately they are not available in India..
Wow! Your nails are amazing!
Good morning!
Wow, I am so glad that I found your blog! I found it by google searching for blog hops btw. I am going to making the transition from career women to stay at home mom when we move from WI to TX. Any tips or advice you have for me would be wonderful! Please feel free to stop by my blog, I love making new blogger friends! http://dreamersdiaryblog.blogspot.com/
Oh those sunflowers are so pretty! What a cheery way to start the day :)
So jealous of your crafty crocheting! My grandma taught me when I was little, but I haven't practiced in over 10 years. Just started again and can't even get a scarf done. I get so frustrated. I remember loving it when I was younger. I guess I'll just keep plugging away at it.
