# Slow Cooking Thursday

Slow Cooking Thursday

All my slow cooking recipes are now online and starting today, I will add all the recipes shared weekly to my online site too. So if you're wanting to find ALL the slow cooked recipes that have been shared since the first SLOW COOKING THURSDAY, here is the link for you.

Don't forget to add your name to Mr Linky and a link back to your SCT post so others can come by and see your recipe too.

4 medium tart apples, peeled and sliced
2 cups granola cereal with fruit and nuts
1/4 cup honey
2 tablespoons butter, melted
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Vanilla ice cream or whipped cream topping, optional

In a 3-qt. slow cooker, combine apples and cereal. In a bowl, combine honey, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg; pour over apple mixture and mix well. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours.

Serve with ice cream or whipped topping if desired.

Yield: 4-6 servings

I look forward to getting to know everyone here...breaking out of my Xanga shell :-D

Being disabled, I need lots of inspiration with crocking. I know it will make my life easier not having to try to stand at the stove and cook, but still having a hot dinner ready for Papa and Hubby when they get home from work, and my stepdaughters when they are here.
