{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 4/02/2018 }

Good morning friends, and a very happy Monday.

Hope you've all had a beautiful, blessed Easter.  Ours was wonderful, we had family over, enjoyed some yummy food, laughed, talked about past year memories and vacations we took, and talked about vacations we want to take next year.

Watched a little TV, and just enjoyed each other's company.

Can you believe that Easter is done, and we're already in April?  Goodness.

Alright, let's get going with our Happy Homemaker Monday.

Breakfast time....what is on the plate this morning::::
I've only had my coffee, and even though I'm slightly hungry I'm not sure what to eat, because with this broken tooth, it's a little difficult.

On today's to do list::::
  1. Laundry - Nick's laundry, everything else is done
  2. Tons of dishes from yesterday's get together, I was too tired to do it last night, so have to tackle it today.
  3. Start working on the new menu plan
  4. Compile a post on the Air Fryer
  5. Update Food Blog
  6. Call around for a dentist that won't make me go bankrupt

Currently reading::::
The Man He Never Was:  A Modern Reimagining of Jekyll and Hyde by James L. Hubart.

On the TV this week::::
Quite a lot of shows I am hoping to watch, as always.

Krypton (hubby and I are enjoying this one)
Siren (really enjoying this one too, if you like mermaids, it's one worth checking out)
General Hospital
Portuguese Soap "A Herdeira"

The weather outside is::::
Confused.  Honestly, 90 degrees on Saturday, 40 yesterday and 30 this morning.  Wish I was making it up, but nope, insane weather.

On the menu this week::::
Monday - Roast Chicken Thighs with Civil War Mac and Cheese
Tuesday - Spaghetti Carbonara, Salad
Wednesday - Shepherd's Pie
Thursday - Chili Dogs, Air Fried Tater Tots
Friday -  Homemade Cheesy Garlic Pizza
Saturday -
Sunday -

If I have a few minutes to myself, I will::::
Not sure either read or work on my blog to book, crochet, watch some stuff.  Whatever I feel like at the moment.

What I'm sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating::::
Made myself a little mini greenhouse using what I had on hand. I'll take pictures today and show you.

New recipe I tried, or want to try this week::::
I've made quite a few things on the Air Fryer, so I'll share that with you, I'll either have the review/post up today or tomorrow.

Favorite photo from the camera::::
Just a simple set up for my Easter table, this weekend.

LOVE your inspiration the week - soooooo true! Hubby and I were gong to watch Krypton, just too many shows right now to start a new one though. Glad you had a great Easter, but so sorry about your tooth. I hope you find a great dentist and have a wonderful week.

I too have been watching sirens! We really have fallen in love with it. So sorry about your tooth praying you can get relief soon! I am excited to read you upcoming post on air fryer recipes! We recently got one not long ago! I have not had much luck with certain foods! Thank you for hosting this link up! I love reading everyone's post!

Love the simplicity of your Easter table, glad you had a nice holiday (other than the tooth, ouch!). Hope you find a great dentist and have a wonderful week ahead!

Ugh, hope you find a good, affordable dentist! Did you post about your Air Fryer? I must have missed it. We bought the 3.5 quart NuWave and if I had it to do again, I'd buy a larger one. It's just too small even though it's just the two of us.

Your menu sounds pretty good. You sound like me with what to do with free time today. I'm just not sure yet. Beautiful photo!

I like the saying. Don't give up!

Give the dental clinic on base a call. Many moons ago one of ours said they see civilians without dental insurance (you must have base access though) only if they have space available. It can't hurt to call. Good luck!

Sounds like you had a nice Easter...other than the broken tooth, of course. Hope you can get that taken care of right away. We've got the crazy up and down weather going on, too. I'm so ready for spring and winter just doesn't want to give it up. Have a blessed week ahead! <3

I'm sorry...I love you...but I had to giggle a little about your tooth! I know I'm being really mean right now and I'm so sorry. Just know that I love you lots! LOL

I miss you all, and I wish I could've been there with you all on Easter, but I am excited to see you in a few months! <3
