Works for Me Wednesday!!!

You have no idea how addictive this is. I literally spend all week trying to think of the perfect tip to give and let me say that I usually can come up with tons, right until the morning of. For some reason my mind takes extended leave and I'm drawing a blank. How annoying!!!

Anyway, for those who are reading this for the first time, one of my favorite bloggers, Shannon over at Rocks in my Dryer, came up with this theme called "Works for Me Wednesday" in which you share your tips or advice or whatever, that make your life easier.
For a list of all the participants, check out her site, I will also add your links to mine if you leave me a comment letting me know that you're playing too.

Here's mine for this week.

I have tons of different cooking gadgets, slow cooker, turbo cooker, George Foreman Grill, Rotisserie etc. To make room on my counters and so it doesn't look cluttered, I have these neatly stored away in my kitchen cabinets, BUT the problem is that I tend to forget they exist.

So I've started taking one out each week or two and then I find recipes for them and use it as much as I can. Once that time is up, it gets stored back in it's place and out comes another one.
I've found that this way, I'm actually using them all, trying out different recipes AND I don't just let them collect dust. Works for Me!!!!

If you play along, let me know and I will put up a link here too :)

That is a good way to get out of the "cook slump" that I get in sometimes- ALWAYS only using the same gadget thus the same recipe time & time again! Oh and I could definitely use more counterspace- who couldn't!???

Thanks for visiting my blog, too- yours is SO cute!

This is a great idea! My bread machine is especially ignored. I've used it twice since we got married!
Hey, thanks for your comment on my blog.:-)

I think I used my crock pot about five years ago. I know people who can't live without them but I just must need to find a few no-lose recipes to get the brain going. Thanks!

I love this idea and plan on doing this starting today. I know my appliances will love me. I also have a WFMW on my blog. LOVE your blog, it gives me such a happy feeling.

That is a good idea to pull them out. I would never know I had a bread machine if it weren't to make rolls one Sunday a month.

LOVE the air infusions. My FAVORITE is Clean Laundry. Mmmmm...the whole house smells like I just did laundry. Nice.

Good idea! It seriously is a pain to keep dragging those things in and out of the cupboards. My family will especially love when I deep fry several days in a row!

I love this idea. I have a very tiny kitchen and some of my small appliances are stored in a kitchenette area in my basement. Out of sight, out of mind. This will probably get me to be more creative!

There is no way I could ever forget my crock pot. No, we don't want all those ugly work machines sitting out on the counters. Good idea to rotate them!

Just when I'd given them all away! Ah well, I never used them anyway. And my crock pot, mixer and blender are here to stay.
