{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 03/06/2017 }

Good morning friends, welcome to another Happy Homemaker Monday.

You know I was sitting this morning and thinking just how long I've had this feature going.  It's been the one constant on the blog, isn't that amazing?

Well, it's Monday, I have a busy week ahead of me so let's get right on with our post for today.

The weather:::
Cloudy the whole weekend, today it's a bit on the cloudy side again, high winds but a high of 84.  The rest of the week is much of the same, warm temperatures but cloudy, I can handle that though.

On my reading pile:::
Phillipa Gregory "Meridon".

Movies or Shows I watched this weekend:::
Hubby and I binged on Glitch on Netflix.  He found it on Saturday morning and that's pretty much what we watched all weekend.....well, not straight, but in between outings, housework and chores etc. It is an Australian series and deals with 6 seemingly strangers who just come up out of the grave, but they're not zombies, they are perfectly healthy and fine.  One of them is the local police sergeant's wife.  We really enjoyed it and I'm hoping there's a second season.

On my TV:::
General Hospital
Dr Phil
Documentaries
One episode of Outlander left, then I'm catching up with The Last Kingdom

On the menu for this week:::

Monday 27th
Have to pick up Jasmine this afternoon so will grab something on the road
Tuesday 28th
Hamburger Helper, Salad (Jasmine requested hamburger helper)
Wednesday 1st
Chicken a la King with Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Thursday 2nd
Slow Cooker Lasagna, Garlic Bread
Friday 3rd
Family over for dinner making a Pork Shoulder Roast, Roast Potatoes, Salad and a Cake for dessert.
Saturday 4th
Chili Con Carne, Rice
Sunday 5th
Slow Cooked Sirloin, Buttered noodle

On my to do list:::
Finish off the crochet project I've been working on over the weekend
Blog post
Finish off Laundry
Homeschool

What I am sewing, crocheting, knitting or creating:::
Finished the two dragons.
Mandala Madness
Wednesday I'll be making Part 4 of the Scheepjes CAL 2017.
Sewing some bunting for the living room

Happening this week:::
Having my girl back today.
Getting my mammogram done on Thursday

Looking around the house:::

It's clean and tidy and I don't have much housework to do today, other than getting my daughter's room ready for her.

From the camera:::
I love him.  He has wiggled his way into my heart and although he will never replace my sweet Lola, he has done so much in easing my hurt and pain.  I couldn't imagine life without him.  My sweet Marley turned 6 months old yesterday.

What I'm wearing today:::
Black sweat capri's and a striped orange and red shirt.  I'm just doing minimal jobs around the house, I'll get dressed later to pick up my daughter, but I'm not sure what I'm wearing will see how hot it is at the time.

One of my simple pleasures:::
Reading back through my blog posts, right from the beginning.

Bible verse, Devotional:::

Safe travels to pick up Jasmine. I'll have to change my photo to the one with the Cath Kidston mugs next week - is that the spring HHM photo?

Marley is adorable. A new pet definitely doesn't replace the one who no longer is with us, yet does bring new joy into our lives. Slow cooker lasagna sounds good. The house must smell great while it is cooking!

Hope your busy week is going well. The Glitch show sounds a bit like a show called Resurrection that used to be on ABC, I thought it was pretty good but they canceled it after a couple of seasons.
