I just found your blog and have been enjoying your "period" lists. I too love reading and watching period pieces. I count the Sherlock Holmes (with Jeremy Brett) and Hercule Poirot as good period pieces too. I very much enjoyed 1900 House and watch it often. Along that vein, I highly recommend The 1940's House. It follows the same format as 1900 House but happens during England's war time years. Very worth watching.
