The results of Curt's promotion test coming out around June 18th. Please keep him in your prayers, it would help so much if he could make this promotion.
Homemaking Tip for this week:
My kids are constantly drawing me pictures and as much as I love them, they do tend to become a bit much. What I like to do is go to the Dollar Store and buy the cheap frames, then I dedicate a place in the hallway to all the kids artwork. I put up a few at a time, and change them out every week or two.
Favorite Blog Post of the week (mine or other):
I haven't had a chance to do much blog reading.
Favorite photo from last week:
Lesson learned the past few days:
Sometimes the bills become overwhelming and you have to decide whether to get groceries or pay the cable. It's not a bad thing, it's a part of life and just because one month you are late on the bill, does NOT make you a bad person. I've had to learn this lesson because when it happens to me I get the worst feeling of guilt.
On my Prayer List:
My brother Bruno who had surgery on Saturday
My grandmother who has had some issues and is home recovering
Soldiers overseas
Devotionals, Scripture Reading, Key Verses:
If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes. —Mark 9:23

Great post! I LOVE the bread photo and will have to try this sometime! I am hoping to make Monkey bread with my daughter today! :-)
Happiest Monday to you!
Thanks again for hosting this. I find it so encouraging and reread many of the posts during the week when the stress comes on.
I love the idea of using the cheap frames in the hallway for the kids artwork. I've been looking for a thrifty dining room piece and I think I'll adapt it to work for me.
Done! I posted the picture of you bread as my fave photo! LOL It just looks so good!
Can't wait to try the bread.
Your bread looks yummy. I love the Tudors so much and now have all three seasons on DVD, for camping viewing.
Happy Homemaker Monday
The Raggedy Girl
I just finished the Tudors and I, too, love this series.
I love the 'bag' for your bread. Tell me about it. Is it a flour sack?
Wonderful post! Keeping you and your family (brother and grandma too) in my prayers. Have fun!
Just finally getting my post in today as it has been a whirlwind. I, too, love your bread pic. Hope to catch up on some older posts and your recipes in the next couple of days when things slow down.
Love your idea for the kids art ...
Thanks for the tip with the childrens artwork. I am getting a lot of drawings too so I'm gonna try out your tip.
Nice Post.
I always enjoy these posts from you. I've been wanting to watch the Tudors, but other things seem to always find it to the top of my Netflix queue. Is your hubby testing for Tech? My friend is awaiting results for her hubby this month as well. My husband is actually testing today(for Staff). Really praying he makes it.
I love these Happy Homemaker posts. I've got to get back into the swing of things so I can do them too.
I was moving money around today to pay cable, and found I had some left, even though last time I used that account I had to ring the bank as something didn't go through. Then to have $100 left, strange. I was ordering fruit/vegies/bread. Luckily I took out a bag of nuts and it worked.
