# Slow Cooking Thursday

Slow Cooking Thursday - 08/21/2014

Good morning, here we are Thursday and ready for another recipe.

Today, I'm sharing a crockpot roast that is s delicious, your whole family will enjoy.  As Fall starts coming nearer, I am collecting all my slow cooking recipes to share with you.

Some you will find already posted here, others I am re making either because they're missing my own photo, or were taken with my very old camera.  Either way, this Fall we'll have a lot of slow cooked meals, and who doesn't like that on a cold day?

Awesome Slow Cooked Pot Roast

2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix
1 1/4 cups water
5 1/2 pounds pot roast

1. In a slow cooker, mix cream of mushroom soup, dry onion soup mix and water. Place pot roast in slow cooker and coat with soup mixture.
2. Cook on High setting for 3 to 4 hours, or on Low setting for 8 to 9 hours.

  1. I do like slow cooked things, they are so easy to do aren't they! It is lovely too to come in and smell dinner already doing its thing just waiting for you! xx

  2. Oh yum! This looks delicious. I can't wait to try this. Easy and perfect for my busy schedule.

  3. Yum. I love the ease of this recipe!

  4. That sounds so good!!! Mine isnt a slow cooking recipe. But still good!

  5. Yum! I love crock pot roasts!! I have a similar recipe that uses cream of mushroom soup and the mushroom soup makes the most wonderful gravy!

  6. How did I miss this? It didn't show up in my feed today... Anyway, I'm here a little late!
This looks so good! Pot Roast is just the best.

  7. Looks super yummy. I have a really long list of "remakes" for this fall also so I can get updated pictures.
