I have always liked having plants in my home. I wasn't always able to have them because they would either die on me, or I found them to be pretty expensive to buy.
But I've always wanted to have my house filled with plants, just greenery everywhere, I think it adds such a beautiful charm to a home.
Since moving to Texas, I got rid of the one big artificial tree I had, I just couldn't bring it with me, and so the past almost 3 years, I've been meaning to get more plants but just haven't gotten around to it.
A few weeks ago I was given the opportunity to try out some silk plants and see how I liked them. I was thrilled to be given that chance, especially since I had been wanting to get plants for the house.
I know that some people may not like artificial plants and prefer real ones, but I must say, I find artificial easier to take care of, and made right they look just like real plants, you can't even see the difference.
I received two potted plants from Custom Artificial Trees.
It took me a while to figure out which ones I wanted, there is such a huge selection to pick from. I finally settled on the Cypress Grass Bush, and oh my word they are gorgeous and look like the real thing.
They came neatly packaged and ready to use. I will get new pots for them eventually, but for now they're fine in their original pots.

If you're looking to add some greenery to your home, inside or out, silk plants really are the way to go. And they're not tacky like some people think, at least in my opinion.
