{ Hello September }
It is here!!!
September in all it's glory.
I get so happy when this time of the year rolls in. I don't quite want to think that we are but a few months away from Christmas, but it's good to see the summer behind us.
This summer, for me, has been one of the busiest. I've been on the go since July 1st and today, September 2nd, is the first time I have been able to sit on my bed, with my laptop, my tv and my yarn and just breathe and relax.
No worrying about taking care of anyone or anything, or worrying that I need to be sure my guests are well, fed, entertained and so on.
Much as I love having family and friends visit, it is exhausting, and I was surely starting to feel run down and overwhelmed.
I've started pulling out my Fall decorations, and slowly beginning to place things here and there. I need to make some lists of things I want to do, things that need doing, and also have decided that this is the year I will try to be on the ball and get all my Christmas shopping done earlier.
For that, I need to start planning who and what I'm buying and looking for some good deals.
I will also be planning my Christmas Fruit Cakes and hopefully mailing some out to family and friends.
But for now, for this day, I am wearing my comfy pajamas, hanging out on my bed, watching all my fave vlogs and tv shows, and planning my next crochet project. There are SO many new crochet alongs coming out this month, I just can't wait to get started, but while I wait, I am trying out color combos, going through my yarn stash and planning.
I type this, thunder is starting to roll outside and the house has taken on a dark, rainy tone.
What a blessing that is, to be enjoying the beginning of September with cooler temperatures and some stormy weather. I'm going to take this as my cue to put the laptop aside, grab my big crochet blanket and snuggle up in bed with some tv shows.
I hope you are all having a wonderful Labor Day Weekend.
I will be back in the morning with our Happy Homemaker Monday :)
