{ One of those days - Blogtober 2018 }
I hobbled on out of bed and dragged myself into the kitchen this morning. It was dark, it was raining, it was cold and I did not feel like being up doing anything. Some mornings, I feel like I can't quite gather my thoughts, like my mind is still fast asleep while I'm having to make coffee and prepare my husband's lunch.
This morning, the rain was already coming down and it's continued all day long, never letting up, not even for a second.
I also woke up with a congested nose, and I mean so congested that I feel like it's going to explode every I talk. I'm not sure if it's allergies or possibly the beginning of a cold, but my goodness.
And so the day in itself, the congestion, the darkness, the rain, just made for a slow pace surrounded by candle light, copious cups of hot coffee, and some cooking.
I've just prepared my Winter Tea Syrup and I'm about to have a cup of hot tea with a big spoonful to help this congestion, open up my sinuses and hopefully keep away any germs trying to make an appearance.
It's just one of those days......

Sandra, can you post the recipe for the winter tea syrup please?
We stock up on a lot of natural remedies, but just organic ginger helps with almost anything.
Hope you are feeling better today! Do I see ginger in your winter tea syrup? Curious about the recipe as well.
