{ Happy Homemaker Monday - 10/22/2018 }

Good morning everyone :)

It has just gone 8:15am here and I finally dragged myself out of my warm comfy bed.  No, I wasn't sleeping, I was up at 6am as usual to get hubby off to work and then I climbed back in bed (it is colllddddd), and watched some Youtube.   Took everything to convince myself that I must get up, get dressed and start my day.

So, here I am, and ready for another week ahead, but first let's see what is happening around our households, shall we?

The weather outside is::::
At the moment, super cold, or at least it feels like it to me.  It's actually 48 degrees and we have a high of 72 today....WHY?????  Why Texas, why???  3
We are expecting a low of 58 on Wednesday and more rain showers, but the rest of the week?  70's!!!  So over it hahaha

On the breakfast plate this morning::::
I had a cup of coffee at 6am, with some Peppermint Mocha creamer, yum.  After this post, I'll have some toast and possibly another cup of coffee, I try to stick to just 2 a day and I don't do it every single day either, there's days that I have just the early morning coffee.

As I look outside my window:::
There is frost all around and condensation through my windows.  The sun has just barely made it out but is already covered by big dark clouds.

Right now I am::::
Sitting on the couch with Marley sleeping beside me, wrapped in his blanket.  I'm working on this post and also thinking about what I need to do today.

As I look around the house::::
It is quiet, the kids are both still asleep.  It doesn't need much tending to, but I do need to vacuum the living rooms and dust.

On today's to do list::::

Cleaning....In the kitchen, the usual dishes and counters.
In the living rooms....need to vacuum and dust.
Homeschooling....It's back at it today, this Fall break was but a mere 3 days.
Crocheting and knitting....Hoping to do another 3 diamonds today to finish Part 4 of the Ubuntu CAL.
Cooking.....Will probably just have a sandwich for lunch.  Dinner is Bratwurst and Fries.

Currently reading::::
Starting on Marilla of Green Gables today, really excited to read that one.

On the TV today::::
Have some vlogs to catch up on, but not sure if I'll do that throughout the day, probably later tonight before bed.
I just found Cold Justice and I'm LOVING it.  There are 5 seasons, but Netflix only has Season 3 available, not sure why.  I started watching that season, and I'll go back now and find Season 1, 2, 4 and 5 online to watch.  It's just the type of show that I really enjoy.

On the menu this week::::
Monday - Bratwurst and Fries
Tuesday - Panda Express Chow Mein with Chicken
Wednesday - Tortellini with homemade tomato sauce, broccoli
Thursday - Slow Cooker Beans and Rice, Salad
Friday - Homemade Pizza
Saturday - Chili Cheese Fries
Sunday - Leftovers

What I am creating at the moment::::
The Cozy Memories Knitted Blanket and the Ubuntu CAL

New recipe I tried or want to try this week::::
Friends, I still have two recipes to post online, didn't get a chance at all last week, so hopefully soon.

I would love to have the 70's here right now. I have much to do outside yet, and it's pretty cold here. 40's and 50's.

I absolutely ADORE your bread picture - looks so inviting. The weather is NUTS!!! We've been in Montana this week and seeing the high 60's and even 70's during our visit - good thing I packed in layers for the cold! Sounds like a family fun menu this week. Have a GREAT one!

Cold here too, have been having snowflakes last few days and it should be cold during the whole week... in the negatives (celsius) during the night. Brrrrr!
